The IT sphere in the Republic of Kazakhstan is becoming more and more attractive for business. At the end of August of this year, there were already 7.7 thousand companies in the information and communication segment - 11.8% more than in the same period a year earlier (6.9 thousand companies). This year 98.8% is accounted for by small companies, the share of medium-sized companies was 0.7%, and the share of large companies was 0.5%. According to IDC, agency by 2022, up to 60% of global GDP will be digitized, and the growth of any industry will be a consequence of the development of one or another new technology. Companies that cannot change will simply lose. The IT industry is becoming a key area for business: IT distribution, products and services, business models and promotion principles are changing. From January 1, 2020, the state infrastructure and services for the development and implementation of information technologies will go through prequalification. The fundamental criteria are prequalification data. For the first half of this year, the volume of computer programming and consulting services in the sector amounted to 110.5 billion tenge, having increased by 46.1% compared to the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, information services increased by 18% over the year and reached 59.3 billion tenge. For the same period last year, the volume of information services amounted to 50.3 billion tenge, with an increase of 13.6% for the year.
